South Cove filling continues.

The South Corporation fills the area bounded by today’s Beech Street, Harrison Avenue, Herald Street, and the Fort Point Channel to make land for railroad depots. They complete it in the 1840s, then fill the area bounded by today’s Herald Street, Harrison Avenue, Traveler Street, and Albany Street.
